This week we headed to Texas to meet BABY MILES! He is the absolute best human.
Cailey treated us like Kings and Queens and it could not have been a more pleasurable trip! She had treats waiting for us in our room, and then gifts for baby Bowie from her and mom and dad. Reed loved us and he was a doll. We celebrated Halloween as Pooh and Tigger, we went to the Perot Museum in Dallas and had the best Mexican ever at "Meso Maya" and it really felt like a mini honey moon. Caye treated me to shopping at Old Navy and lunch at a greek lunch spot. Incredible food once again. She even made us crepes in bed one morning. Halloween night we spent at a barbecue joint called "Babes" and had all you can eat chicken and homestyle sides. The corn... Magnificent.
I love Reed's little personality. He's so so special and you can feel it as soon as he enters the room. He is a sweet angel from God and laughs and smiles until his cheeks hurt! When Cailey entered the restaurant after the boys because she had to nurse he yells in his sweet chipmunk voice, "Hi mommy!" and has to hug and kiss her. He is SUCH a delight. At the Perot I wanted to get him a gift from the gift shop so we chose a box of colorful toy dinosaurs. He played with them the rest of the night.
Miles is someone very special. I can't describe what it is. Mom and I both felt it. There is something more special about him then I think anyone I have met in this life. I felt Jesus Christ and God's presence while holding him and having to leave was literally heart wrenching. It felt like my soul was being taken away. I cried as they pulled him away, I cried the way to the airport. I cried in security. I cried on the plane 3 times, when we landed, at baggage claim, in Laura's car and then at home again. I was beyond a mess. Everyone said, oh its because you are pregnant. No its because he is truly truly special and I felt a loss of spirit when I had to leave his side. I really love him.
Brad and Caye were amazing to us. I couldn't believe how well they took care of Matt and I and I will be forever grateful.
I got a little sick near the end of the trip. Just pregnancy sick and I was a little bummed being I thought I had gotten passed it all but all is well. I still haven't felt him kick.. but I am trying to feel him everyday!

I say "Names" with an (s) but I really mean Name because I truly think we picked! I was writing in my Day One which speaking of, I have to many diary type things. I gotta limit myself. Anyways, I was typing a couple names and one really stood out. We have been calling him it and it just fits!
Introducing, the darn cutest most clever witty fearless wonderful baby in the world:

What do you think cyber world/my 0 readers because this is a wonderfully private blog? Yeah, I think its incredible too. It just fits him so well. Since I know him so well.. ha ha..
I have been reading the scriptures to little Bowie in the mornings and he's already going to be the best missionary.
